Code Of Ethics

The Triple J Family Foundation Code of Ethics reflects the high standard of conduct representing our organization’s mission and vision.  We are committed to conducting all of the Triple J Family Foundations affairs and activities with the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Our Code of Ethics helps define our commitment for using our time, treasures, and talents to model for family, friends, and future generations in a legacy of giving. As volunteers, we are passionate about working with our community and those we serve. We must dedicate ourselves to pursuing our mission with love, kindness, and respect for individuals, to teach them to fish so that they can eat for a lifetime.

Our Code of Ethics encompasses these values and beliefs:

  • Serving: Serve with respect, concern, courtesy, and responsiveness in carrying out the organizations’ mission.
  • Honesty and Integrity: Demonstrate the highest standards of personal integrity, truthfulness, honesty, and fortitude in all our activities to inspire trust in our activities.
  • Working in Partnership with Individuals: Develop and maintain constructive relationships based on mutual respect and shared goals.
  • Treating Grantees and Potential Grantees Fairly: Duty to make decisions and act impartially and objectively.  Our conduct must be free from self-interest, prejudice, and favoritism.
  • Respect: Treat with respect and consideration all persons, regardless of race, religion, gender, abilities, age or national origin.
  • Confidentiality: Respect and protect privileged information to which we have access to in the course of our official duties.
  • Compassion: Expect our actions to demonstrate our care and concern for others in all our activities.
  • Stewardship and Financial Integrity: Commit to careful stewardship of all human and financial resources. We carefully use the time, treasures and talents of those working with the Foundation, and spend wisely the funds invested in us.
  • Accountability: Accept as a personal duty the responsibility to conduct ourselves with professional competence, fairness, impartiality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Equity: Expect fairness to be evident in our actions internally and externally.  We are equitable in our decisions and mindful of their impact on other groups and people.
